The Face is a non-verbal DVD for people with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities. Our starting point was a baby’s first encounter with his/her surroundings: most often the face of his/her mother or father.

The DVD shows a face which is exhibiting various emotions such as joy, wonder, sadness and anger while it is being fed, washed, and its hair combed. Repetition, measured film edits and slow music ensure suitability for the target audience. The scenes can be viewed separately.
